Name change of Univacco Holland BV to United Transfer Technologies BV
The Dutch company changed its company name in August 2023.
Waalwijk, 31 August 2023 - The company United Transfer Technologies BV, based in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, formerly known as Univacco Holland BV, a specialist supplier of high-quality hot and cold transfer products for the printing and packaging industry, has completely realigned itself in recent years with a view to the future. In August of this year, the company has now also changed its name to United Transfer Technologies BV and from now on positions itself as a competent technology partner for hot and cold transfer.
The company was founded in 2008 under the name Univacco Foils Holland BV and quickly gained a larger share of the market for hot and cold transfer products. In 2015, the first major and, in retrospect, very successful restructuring of the company took place: Fons van Delft, with his decades of experience in the hot and cold transfer business, took over 100% of the company and henceforth made it lean and market-oriented. In the following years, as the exclusive Univacco distributor for Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the now fully Dutch company helped optimise all products to the specific and ever-changing European legislation and market requirements, and exponentially increased Univacco Foils Holland BV's market share through seamless service and a clear understanding of customer needs.
Then, in 2018, the management decided to build a new, zero emission and ultra-modern headquarters in Waalwijk, The Netherlands, equipped with one of the most advanced spooling & slitting centers in Europe, cuttingedge and highly ergonomic processing machines, its own laboratory and one of the largest and best-stocked computerized high-bay warehouses in this market sector in Europe, which was completed and ready for occupancy in 2021.
Already at the end of 2021 the next big step was taken and besides a modern and market-focused renaming of the company to Univacco Holland BV, the marketing of the company as well as the – at that time no longer up to date – internet presence were relaunched and expanded with professional help.
All this was still done with the company focus to be perceived by the market as the exclusive distributor of the Taiwanese Univacco Technology Inc.
Over the years, the company has grown in a healthy way and developed in many areas. At its new location in Waalwijk, the company has developed over the years into a complete, highly competent and very successful technology provider for almost all areas of the hot and cold transfer business. Starfoil Technology Netherlands BV, for example, is one of the world's largest and most successful suppliers of high-quality spooling/slitting and cutting machines as well as flatbed hot stamping machines. Just two months ago, Starfoil also took over the formerly UK-based NewfoilMachines Ltd (a world-renowned manufacturer of hot stamping, embossing, and finishing machines for roll-toroll and adhesive label productions) and transferred the operational business to Waalwijk and incorporated it into the business of Starfoil Technology Netherlands BV as an independent brand.
But also in the market for transfer products for the plastics industry or for car licence plates, the group of companies has today developed into one of the leading suppliers in Europe. In total, the new company building now houses five - each highly successful - companies and brands around the large market of cold and hot transfer for different industries.
Since all this could not be comprehensibly conveyed to the market by the company name Univacco Holland BV alone, the management has already sat down with the Taiwanese management of Univacco Technology Inc. at the end of 2022 and discussed that the company will change its company name. All this, of course, is detached from all existing and future supply contracts with Univacco. For Univacco, the company will remain one of the most important trading and development partners in the future. Of course, all Univacco products will remain in the product range, so that for customers this name change will have no impact on existing and future business.
Under the new name, however, the company will henceforth present itself to the market as the transfer technology specialist it really is. A logical step in the right direction and an enrichment for the company's customers and business partners.
As of 14 August 2023, the company will operate under the name United Transfer Technologies BV. The new website can be reached at www.unitedtransfer.com as of that date.
The e-mail addresses have also already been converted to the format xxxxx@unitedtransfer.com. For its existingcustomers, the company is organising this changeover process as smoothly as possible to give them enough time to change their address books, ERP and CRM systems as well as their supplier lists.
The company asks their customers and business partners that this should be organised by 30 September 2023 at the latest, as the old mail addresses will then no longer be available in the future and forwarding to the new addresses will no longer take place from this date. The company points out that the name change has no effect on the known telephone numbers and address of the company.
What does this mean for customers and business partners of the former Univacco Holland BV?
For customers and business partners of the company, this will initially have no effect on orders and the products they purchase from the company. Of course, the company continues to carry all products of Univacco Technology Inc. in unchanged quality and availability in its delivery program. The certificates and technical data sheets will of course also remain unchanged in terms of content. All supply contracts also remain unchanged.

Now we can conclude contracts in our own name by means of selected European recycling partners with whom we have been testing recycling solutions for almost all our consumables for a long time, and to find perfect and above all environmentally friendly solutions with short delivery routes for you as our customers.
